Today we started taking care of some logistics. Since we're here for a few months and not just vacationing we have to worry about things like school. Especially Sasha being a junior in high school it's a tough time to change schools. The high school had planned on her starting today, but when we went to finish paperwork they asked if she would prefer to wait until tomorrow to which she quickly agreed! So since we now had another free day we headed up to the North Shore. We went to the Dole Plantation and wandered there a bit and then went to the beaches where the waves are much larger and there were a lot of surfers. We also spent some time enjoying our hotel's rooftop pool.
I'm so glad you guys are doing this! Thank you Ramona for agreeing to blog! I was talking with my girls Sunday and we all agreed that it would be awesome if you had a blog for your Hawaii adventure. Of course then Eden suggested that Ramona should make a vlog with her cinematography skills. 😉 So how do you like Island Time? My brother was stationed in Hawaii for 3 years and often commented on the reality of Island time. Sounds like Sasha's school runs on Island time as well! lol 😂
